I have learned about the three primary colors this quarter and they are blue, yellow and red. The secondary colors are orange, green and purple. Yellow and blue make green, yellow and red make orange, and red and blue make purple. We also learned that you can make a 3-d drawing and make the shadow of that drawing by blending colors. This quarter I made a crayon melt where you take a hair dryer to crayons and they melt the colors of that malt blended nicely I learned that you can melt crayons with a hair dryer I used the color of the crayons when they are melted are intense and shocking because they are bright. Right now i'm making a nail art where you hammer nails into a board and you string, string from the nails across your design I learned how to string the nails and string across my design. In conclusion I've learned how to challenge myself and take my projects to the next level by going beyond how I want my stuff to look.
The studio habits I have in mind is drawing makeing like a picture of someone getting bullied. The art elements im strongly gonna use in this artwork is line and shape. Im thinking about drawing a picture of a girl standing sad and a couple of other girls behind her whispering to each other like they are talking behind her back then im gonna split the page and make an arrow go to the other side like first and last with all the grls being friends.
Three ways this artist inspires me is 1- to create something using those materials 2-draw the same images 3- maybe use that picture to get ideas.
I connect to this artist because I love drawing and painting. Yes this artist uses the art medium in a unique way. The elements of art that is strongly used in this art is shape and color. |
